Living a Life in Colour

a guide to Italian food, wine and culture

Alpine living

February 16, 2016 By wooweiduan Leave a Comment

So we are in the Italian Alps on a skiing holiday working hard to get in all the cheese, glorious cheese. It comes sliced, grilled, broiled, on polenta, risotto, pasta, in veal chops, melted in a bowl- the list is endless.

I’ll report back next week on my visit to see Fontina being made. Until then, I am going to stop struggling with the lack of wi-fi and enjoy the clean air, the stunning view, the fresh powder on the slopes, time with my family…and of course the cheese!

Have a great week!
