This is my favourite summertime pre-dinner drink, perfect for sitting in a piazza people watching with friends. In Venice, different types of spritz like this one are served in bars called bacari alongside different types of nibbles. Aperol is a bitter Italian liqueur found in specialist Italian shops and alcohol shops. This recipe is slightly adapted from Aperol's own recipe.

150 mls prosecco
100 mls Aperol
splash of soda water
ice
Slice of orange
Instructions
Mix together and serve in a wine glass.
