The quick and simple way to skin and seed a melon

 

This is the fastest and easiest way to remove the skin and seeds from a whole melon. Once they are removed, the melon can be sliced into wedges or cut into chunks to serve.

1. Cut the stem end and opposite end off the melon.

2. Place the melon cut side down on the cutting board. Cut downwards, following the curve of the melon to remove the skin.

3. Slice the melon in half.

4. Use a spoon to scoop out the melon seeds and discard.
