This is my favourite summertime pre-dinner drink, perfect for sitting in a piazza people watching with friends. In Venice, different types of spritz like this one are served in bars called bacari alongside different types of nibbles.
Aperol is a bitter Italian liqueur found in specialist Italian shops and alcohol shops. This recipe is slightly adapted from Aperol's own recipe.

At our home in Umbria we enjoy an Aperol spritz while playing a game of bocce. Very refreshing

Sounds dreamy. Enjoy it while the summer lasts! Have you tried sgroppino? It’s another favourite of mine. https://www.livingalifeincolour.com/your-new-favourite-summer-cocktail-sgroppino/
